The Dimensional Gap (次元の狭間 Jigen no Hazama) is a location that lies between the different worlds of High School DxD. It was ruled by Great Red until his death.
Summary[]
The Dimensional Gap is the gap that exists between the three worlds (Earth, Heaven, and the Underworld) and is considered a void world [1]. The Khaos Brigade uses the Dimensional Gap as a means of traveling. It is the birthplace of Ophis, the Infinite Dragon God. The Dimensional Gap was originally the home of Ophis, but was occupied by Great Red until his death [1]. The Dimensional Gap is currently being occupied by the Fierce God Regalzeva of Evie Etoulde and his army.[2]
Floating within the Dimensional Gap are the Gogmagog, Golems created and later abandoned by the Ancient Gods. Aside from the one recovered by the Vali Team, all of them are inactive.[3]
It's been said that nothing can survive within the Dimensional Gap without magic, demonic power or some other protection. Anyone without such protection dies within a matter of seconds after being exposed to the "nothingness" within the Gap,[4] though despite this claim an unprotected & unconscious Asia Argento was within this supposedly destructive realm for at least several minutes before being rescued in perfect health.
In Slash/Dog, there is a magical domain known as the Land of Oz created within the Dimensional Gap, a country filled with magicians. Within this realm there are a total of four castles in the North, South, East and West centered around the Emerald City where the magicians' boss; Oz resides.[5] [6]

The Dimensional Gap is an endless void, where in every direction, there is a mix of iridescent colors. In Volume 12, Issei Hyoudou describes it as "looking through a kaleidoscope."[7]
